Creating Cards

Learn how to create your own study sets and flashcards:

Select a Study Set: Choose from your existing sets or create a new one
Create a Study Set: Create new collections with a custom name and design
Add Cards: Add new vocabulary cards to your study set
Type it Yourself: Enter vocabulary with automatic translation and example sentences
Create with AI: Enter a topic and let the AI automatically generate a complete card collection
AI Photo Scanner: Scan vocabulary from photos, screenshots or handwriting
Excel Import: Import vocabulary lists as CSV from Excel, Anki or Quizlet

Discover the different learning methods and features of Vocabu:

The Flashcard System: Understand how the flashcard principle works – see the card, translate it, flip it and rate yourself. Correct: one level to the right, Wrong: one level to the left
Study Set Overview: See at a glance how many cards are at each of the 6 learning levels
Choose Study Mode: Switch between Quiz mode with Spaced Repetition or free Practice
Study Session: Rate your knowledge with three options and learn optimally
Session Complete: Review your learning statistics
Streak & Progress: Track your daily learning streak and stay motivated

Adapt Vocabu to your learning habits:

Daily Limits: Set how many new cards and reviews you want to do per day
Review Intervals: Customize the intervals for each learning level individually (for advanced users)
Vocabulary Difficulty: Filter pre-built vocabulary by CEFR level – from Beginner (A1–A2) to Advanced (C1–C2)
